Ellen Brandon — Trillium Dental Centre

Ellen Brandon

Office Manager

Ellen has been with Trillium Dental since the very beginning. She splits her time between assisting Dr. Shamji and managing the office. She is our resident problem solver and is always a friendly ear listening to our patients. Ellen may be greeting you at the front desk one day, or getting you settled in the dental chair the next. If you have any questions, Ellen is the person to ask. Her expansive knowledge of all areas of the dental office make her an optimal office manager, and a gracious leader of our team.

Honey Patel — Trillium Dental Centre

Dental Administrator

Honey Patel is a Dental Administrator at Trillium Dental Centre, where she plays a key role in ensuring every patient’s visit runs smoothly from start to finish. With a strong focus on patient care, Honey is often the first friendly face patients see and the go-to person for booking appointments, managing schedules, handling billing, and clearly explaining insurance details.

Known for her organized approach and warm communication style, she is dedicated to making patients feel informed, comfortable, and well-supported throughout their dental journey.

Outside of work, you can find Honey out and about—painting, trying new foods, and spending time with friends.

Kristina Mark — Trillium Dental Centre

Dental Assistant Level II and Clinical Manager

With over 20 years in dental assisting, Kristina loves helping patients feel comfortable and cared for at every visit. Alongside of her clinical experience in a wide range of procedures, she supports the practice in a clinical managing role, maintaining organization, protocols, and smooth daily flow. She enjoys interacting with patients and building trust. Outside the office Kristina enjoys walks with her family and her golden retriever, playing squash, and doing pilates.

Brittany

Brittany is a graduate from Westervelt College’s Dental Assistant program in 2020 and graduated with honours. She enjoys all things dental, especially building relationships with patients at our office. Brittany is excited to continue learning and educating others about good oral hygiene habits. Brittany is extremely passionate about health and fitness and when she is not in the office you can find her at the gym. What initially drew her to the field of dental was how interchangeable good oral habits are with the overall health of your body. You can expect her at the door welcoming you to your appointment with a gentle smile.

Soji George — Trillium Dental Centre

Soji George

Soji George was born and raised in Dubai. She completed her bachelor’s degree in dentistry in India and worked as a dentist for ten years. She moved to Canada in 2015 and graduated from George Brown college in 2016 and has been working as a dental assistant ever since. She speaks English, Hindi, Arabic and Malayalam. She loves interacting with people, music and travel.

My name is Harley. I am a certified and registered dental assistant of 10+ years. I am registered with Ontario’s governing body; the ODAA. Continuing education is a huge part of this field, especially with technology and health constantly changing. I absolutely LOVE learning in the dental field!

I enjoy the outdoors, family time, coffee and puzzles. I also enjoy coming to work with my fantastic team!

Laurie — Trillium Dental Centre

Registered Dental Hygienist

Laurie has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 30 years. Laurie is also a certified laser technician and can deliver comfort-focused laser treatments to our patients. Our patients adore Laurie for her gentle touch, easy-going demeanor, and expertise. She attends many continuing education courses which keep her job interesting and exciting. Laurie likes to spend her free time outdoors and is a Level II ski instructor. Laurie has been apart of the Trillium family for several years. If you have been to our office, you have likely seen her smiling face. She brings joy and fun into the office and her patient appointments. Laurie’s Hygiene Tip: It is important to understand that your mouth is a gateway to the rest of your body, thus oral health reflects your overall health!

Marijke — Trillium Dental Centre

Marijke was born and raised in Newfoundland, but moved to Toronto to study dental hygiene at George Brown College. She moved to KW shortly after graduating in 2022 and has been at Trillium ever since! Marijke believes that knowledge is power and she loves educating her patients about the importance of good oral hygiene. Outside of work, Marijke loves reading, crafting and exploring the KW region with her wife and their miniature dachshund Milkshake. She is always looking for recommendations of fun things to do around the city.

Julia Uzdravis — Trillium Dental Centre

Julia graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a degree in Nutrition in 2021, where she developed a strong appreciation for the connection between overall health and oral wellness. She went on to pursue her passion for preventive care by completing her Dental Hygiene diploma in 2024, graduating with honours. Her educational background allows her to take a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing the important role that nutrition, lifestyle, and oral hygiene play in maintaining long-term health. As a dental hygienist, Julia is deeply committed to making a positive difference in her patients’ lives. She strives to create a welcoming, comfortable environment and believes that trust, education, and open communication are essential to helping patients feel confident in their oral health. Julia takes pride in providing thorough, gentle care while empowering patients with the knowledge they need to achieve and maintain healthy smiles. Outside of the clinic, Julia enjoys staying active through yoga and Pilates, which reflect her passion for wellness and balance. In her free time, she also loves spending time with her two golden retrievers, Hudson and Elsa, who keep her busy and bring plenty of joy to her life. Julia’s warm personality, dedication to patient care, and commitment to overall wellness make her a valued member of the dental team.

Jack — Trillium Dental Centre

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jack joined the practice as a new dental hygiene graduate in August of 2019 at George Brown College, fresh with the most updated knowledge in the dental hygiene field. He enjoys discussing oral hygiene improvement plans with his clients and passionately believes good oral hygiene is a major contribution to overall health. If there is one thing he dislikes, that would be clients unable to book dental hygiene appointments because we do not have time available, he may make time just for you! In his free time, he likes to play video games, spending time with his family and trying out new hobbies! Jack is an active member of CDHO and CDHA and is always interested in reading new research. Jack’s Hygiene Tip: Did you know that calcium and milk proteins can help to reduce risk of dental decay, provide protection from acidic meals, and prevent periodontal disease? Next time if you or your kids are about to eat sugary snacks, throw some Cheddar or Jack (heh) cheese into the mix to protect your teeth!

Brianna Wilson — Trillium Dental Centre

Bri is a caring and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who is passionate about preventive care and patient education. She takes a gentle, patient-focused approach and strives to create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Bri believes that building trust and helping patients feel at ease is just as important as providing excellent clinical care. Bri graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2025 and previously earned a Biochemistry degree from the University of Guelph in 2023. Outside of the clinic, Bri enjoys reading in her spare time and values maintaining a balanced, mindful lifestyle.
